- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- All-purpose flour - 1/4 cup
- Egg - 1 large
- Panko breadcrumbs - 1 cup
- Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup (for frying)
- Burger buns - 2
- Shredded cabbage - 1 cup
- Katsu sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Sriracha - 1 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- 1. Begin by seasoning the pork loin chop with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2. Prepare a breading station by placing the flour in one shallow dish, the beaten egg in another, and the panko breadcrumbs in a third.
- 3. Dredge the seasoned pork in flour, shaking off excess, then dip it in the egg, and finally coat it with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure an even coating.

- 5. Carefully place the breaded pork chop into the hot oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6. Toast the burger buns lightly in the same pan or in a toaster.
