Ingredients

  • Gluten-free pizza base - 1 large (30 cm diameter)
  • Pork belly - 250 grams, sliced into thin strips
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Miso paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Red bell pepper - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Nori sheets - 1, cut into small squares for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a bowl, marinate the sliced pork belly with soy sauce, mirin, and miso paste for at least 15 minutes.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the marinated pork belly and cook until browned and crispy, approximately 10-15 minutes.
  4. While the pork is cooking, prepare the gluten-free pizza base by placing it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza base.
  6. Once the pork belly is cooked, evenly distribute it over the cheese layer on the pizza.
  7. Add the sliced red bell pepper and shiitake mushrooms on top of the pork belly.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle chopped green onions and nori squares on top as a garnish.
  10. Slice the pizza and serve hot.
