  • Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Shiso leaves - 4, for garnish

Steps

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine fresh basil leaves, miso paste, minced garlic, and olive oil. Blend until smooth, adding a bit of reserved pasta water if needed to achieve desired consistency.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the pesto. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
