  • Okonomiyaki sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Mayonnaise (kosher) - 1 tablespoon
  • Dried bonito flakes (optional, check for kosher certification) - 5 grams
  • Nori (seaweed), shredded - 5 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped green onions.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, soy sauce, and mirin, then pour it over the vegetable mixture and mix well.
  4. Add the pizza dough to a floured surface and stretch it into a round shape, about 25 cm in diameter.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the stretched pizza dough in the skillet.
  6. Spread the vegetable mixture evenly over the pizza dough, pressing it down gently.
  7. Cook for about 5 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise. Sprinkle with dried bonito flakes and shredded nori if using.
  10. Slice and serve immediately.
