- Okonomiyaki sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise (kosher) - 1 tablespoon
- Dried bonito flakes (optional, check for kosher certification) - 5 grams
- Nori (seaweed), shredded - 5 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped green onions.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, soy sauce, and mirin, then pour it over the vegetable mixture and mix well.
- Add the pizza dough to a floured surface and stretch it into a round shape, about 25 cm in diameter.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the stretched pizza dough in the skillet.
- Spread the vegetable mixture evenly over the pizza dough, pressing it down gently.
- Cook for about 5 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise. Sprinkle with dried bonito flakes and shredded nori if using.
- Slice and serve immediately.
