Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or broiler to medium-high heat.
  2. Cut the eggplants in half lengthwise and score the flesh in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut through the skin.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the miso paste, maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, and mirin until well combined.
