Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan, season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper, and cook until the mushrooms are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the dashi broth and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the mushroom dashi mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle nutritional yeast and chopped spring onions over the top.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil or shiso leaves.
