Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Egg - 1 large
- Miso paste - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sriracha sauce - 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Green onions - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Dried seaweed (nori) - 1 sheet, cut into strips
- Sliced mushrooms - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, sliced
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Steam the cauliflower florets for about 8-10 minutes until tender. Allow to cool slightly.
- In a food processor, blend the steamed cauliflower until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower puree, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form a pizza crust, about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the sliced mushrooms and bell pepper for about 5 minutes until softened.
- In a small bowl, mix the miso paste, soy sauce, and sriracha (if using) to create a sauce.
- Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and spread the miso sauce evenly over the top.
- Top with the sautéed vegetables and sprinkle with chopped green onions and nori strips.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with black sesame seeds before slicing and serving.
