Ingredients
- Ground pork - 250 grams
- White miso paste - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Green onion - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
- Cucumber - 100 grams, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Radish - 50 grams, thinly sliced
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, miso paste, minced garlic, chopped green onion, grated ginger, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add sesame oil. Once hot, add the pork patties to the skillet.
- Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F) and are nicely browned.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings by slicing cucumber, avocado, and radish.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To assemble the burgers, place a pork patty on a lettuce leaf, top with cucumber slices, avocado, and radish. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
