Ingredients

  • Ground pork - 250 grams
  • White miso paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Green onion - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
  • Cucumber - 100 grams, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Radish - 50 grams, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, miso paste, minced garlic, chopped green onion, grated ginger, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add sesame oil. Once hot, add the pork patties to the skillet.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F) and are nicely browned.
  5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings by slicing cucumber, avocado, and radish.
  6. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. To assemble the burgers, place a pork patty on a lettuce leaf, top with cucumber slices, avocado, and radish. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
