- Mirin (sweet rice wine) - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon (5ml)
- Fresh ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Chopped green onions - 2 teaspoons (5g) for garnish

Steps
- In a small bowl, mix the white miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the miso marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
- Grill the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once done, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a minute. Serve garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
