Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets - 200 grams
  • Chicken breast - 200 grams
  • Miso paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey or low-carb sweetener - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix the miso paste, soy sauce, honey (or sweetener), sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the glaze.
  2. Season the salmon and chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil if necessary to prevent sticking.
  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip them over.
  6. Brush the miso glaze generously over the salmon and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your liking.
  7. While the salmon is finishing, slice the cooked chicken and drizzle with a bit more miso glaze if desired.
  8. Serve the glazed salmon and sliced chicken on a plate, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
