Ingredients
- Cod fillets - 300 grams
- White miso paste - 3 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Green onions - 2, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
Steps
- In a bowl, mix together the white miso paste, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the miso marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper and place the marinated cod fillets on it, skin-side down.
- Bake the cod in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
