- Ground beef - 300g
- White miso paste - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Sliced cucumber - 1 small
- Sliced radish - 1 small
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Sriracha sauce - for serving (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, white miso paste, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil if necessary. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings. Slice the cucumber, radish, and avocado.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble, place each beef patty on a large butter lettuce leaf. Top with sliced cucumber, radish, and avocado. Drizzle with Sriracha sauce if desired.
