Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Prepare the pizza dough by rolling it out into a 12-inch circle and place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- In a shallow bowl, set up a breading station: place flour in the first bowl, beaten egg in the second, and panko breadcrumbs in the third.
- Season the pork strips with salt and black pepper, then dip each strip first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat, and fry the breaded pork strips until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Once cooked, remove the pork and place it on the prepared pizza dough evenly.
- Spread the mozzarella cheese over the pork strips, add sliced red bell peppers, and sprinkle chopped green onions on top.
- Drizzle kushikatsu sauce over the toppings.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
