- Chicken thighs - 300 grams, boneless and skinless
- Green onions - 2 stalks, cut into 5 cm pieces
- Coconut aminos - 60 ml
- Rice vinegar - 15 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine coconut aminos, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces and green onion pieces alternately onto the skewers.
- Once the grill is hot, place the skewers on it and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Serve hot, drizzled with any remaining marinade if desired.
