Kushi Tsukune

Ingredients
- Ground chicken - 400 grams
- Green onion (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Egg (beaten) - 1 large
- Panko breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Teriyaki sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Wooden skewers - 4 pieces (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, green onion, garlic, ginger, beaten egg, panko breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a log around a soaked skewer.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the skewers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- During the last few minutes of grilling, brush each skewer with teriyaki sauce to glaze them.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
