Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Coconut aminos - 4 tablespoons
  • Fresh ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine coconut aminos, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, mixing well to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
