Ingredients

  • Fresh sashimi-grade salmon - 200 grams
  • Fresh sashimi-grade tuna - 200 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1 ripe, sliced
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
  • Wasabi - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Sea salt - to taste
  • Skewers - 4 (if using bamboo, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Prepare the skewers by soaking bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Cut the salmon and tuna into bite-sized cubes.
  3. On each skewer, alternately thread pieces of salmon, tuna, cucumber slices, and avocado slices.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the lime juice, coconut aminos, and wasabi (if using) to create a dipping sauce.
  5. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the assembled skewers, and season with sea salt to taste.
  6. Serve the skewers with the dipping sauce on the side.
