- Fresh sashimi-grade tuna - 200 grams
- Cucumber - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1 ripe, sliced
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Wasabi - 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Sea salt - to taste
- Skewers - 4 (if using bamboo, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Prepare the skewers by soaking bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Cut the salmon and tuna into bite-sized cubes.
- On each skewer, alternately thread pieces of salmon, tuna, cucumber slices, and avocado slices.
- In a small bowl, mix the lime juice, coconut aminos, and wasabi (if using) to create a dipping sauce.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the assembled skewers, and season with sea salt to taste.
