- Mirin - 2 tablespoons
- Sake - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Bell pepper - 1, cut into chunks
- Zucchini - 1 small, sliced
- Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Steps
- In a bowl, combine tamari, mirin, sake, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to marinate.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
- Once marinated, thread the beef and vegetables onto the soaked skewers, alternating between beef and veggies.
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from the grill and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
