Steps
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Slice the Japanese eggplants in half lengthwise and score the flesh in a criss-cross pattern.
- In a small bowl, mix together the white miso paste, coconut aminos, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
- Brush the miso mixture generously over the cut sides of the eggplant halves.
