Ingredients
- Ground chicken - 200 grams
- Shiitake mushrooms - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cauliflower - 200 grams, riced
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped shiitake mushrooms, green onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, coconut aminos, sesame oil, riced cauliflower, and the beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Take a portion of the mixture and mold it into an oval shape (about 2 tablespoons) and thread it onto a skewer. Repeat with the remaining mixture until all are skewered.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little sesame oil.
- Place the skewered gyoza in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions or a side of coconut aminos for dipping.
