  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ginger powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Avocado oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
  • Mayonnaise (Paleo-friendly) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground Kobe beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder until just combined. Form into two equal-sized patties.

  3. In the same skillet, add sliced shiitake mushrooms and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until browned and tender. Add green onions and stir for an additional minute.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sesame oil and coconut aminos to create a sauce.
  5. To assemble, lay the patties on large romaine lettuce leaves, top with sautéed mushrooms and green onions, and drizzle with the sesame sauce.
  6. Serve with a dollop of Paleo-friendly mayonnaise and a touch of sriracha if desired.
