- Mirin (or sugar-free sweetener) - 1 tbsp
- Green onions (sliced) - 2 tbsp
- Shredded nori (seaweed) - 1 tbsp
- Sriracha sauce (optional) - to taste
- Mozzarella cheese (for topping) - 1/2 cup
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, egg, baking powder, and salt to form a dough.
- Press the dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper to form the pizza crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or pork) until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and mirin to the meat, stirring well to combine, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the cooked meat evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle the additional mozzarella cheese over the meat, followed by green onions and shredded nori.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, add Sriracha sauce if desired, slice, and serve hot.
