- Almond flour - 50g
- Pork rinds (crushed) - 30g
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- Paprika - 1/2 tsp
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp (for frying)
- Keto-friendly tonkatsu sauce - 30ml (optional)
Steps
- 1. Begin by flattening the pork loin chops to an even thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
- 2. In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, crushed pork rinds, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- 3. In another bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten.
- 4. Dip each pork chop in the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the almond flour and pork rind mixture.
- 5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- 6. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated pork chops in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 7. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a minute before slicing.
- 8. Serve with keto-friendly tonkatsu sauce if desired.
