Ingredients

  • Pork loin chop - 2 pieces (150g each)
  • Almond flour - 50g
  • Pork rinds (crushed) - 30g
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp (for frying)
  • Keto-friendly tonkatsu sauce - 30ml (optional)

Steps

  1. 1. Begin by flattening the pork loin chops to an even thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  2. 2. In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, crushed pork rinds, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. 3. In another bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten.
  4. 4. Dip each pork chop in the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the almond flour and pork rind mixture.
  5. 5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. 6. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated pork chops in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. 7. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a minute before slicing.
  8. 8. Serve with keto-friendly tonkatsu sauce if desired.
