Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Cucumber - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Radish - 4, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1 medium, diced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Press the tofu for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
- In a non-stick skillet, heat a teaspoon of sesame oil over medium heat and add the tofu cubes. Sauté until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the tofu is cooking, prepare the vegetables: slice the cucumber and radish, and dice the avocado.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked tofu, cucumber, radish, avocado, and chopped green onions.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili flakes.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
