Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 400 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Bell pepper (sliced) - 50 grams
- Mushrooms (sliced) - 50 grams
- Green onion (sliced) - 30 grams
- Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Press the firm tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then crumble it into a bowl.
- Add almond flour, egg, soy sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper to the crumbled tofu. Mix until well combined.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the tofu mixture into a pizza shape, about 1cm thick.
- Bake the tofu crust in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, until golden and firm.
- While the crust is baking, prepare the toppings: slice the bell pepper, mushrooms, and green onion.
- Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Add the sliced vegetables on top of the cheese, followed by a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
