Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, garlic powder, ginger powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce leaves by washing and patting them dry.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a lettuce leaf. Top with additional chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds over the patties.
  7. Wrap the lettuce around the patty and enjoy your Keto Teriyaki Burger!
