Ingredients
- Ground beef (80/20) - 300 grams
- Cauliflower - 200 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Miso paste - 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Sliced cucumber - 1/2 medium
- Sliced avocado - 1/2 medium
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Steam the cauliflower until tender, about 10 minutes, then drain and let cool slightly.
- In a food processor, blend the steamed cauliflower until it resembles rice, then transfer to a bowl.
- Add the egg, almond flour, salt, and pepper to the cauliflower, mixing well until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape into buns. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the buns are baking, mix the ground beef with soy sauce, chopped green onion, salt, and pepper. Form into 2 patties.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.
- In a small bowl, combine the miso paste and mayonnaise to create the miso mayo.
- Once the buns are ready, assemble the burgers by placing a patty on a bun, adding cucumber slices, avocado, and lettuce. Spread miso mayo on top and cover with another bun.
