Ingredients
- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onion, chopped - 2 stalks
- Shirataki noodles (or zucchini noodles) - 200 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sriracha sauce (optional) - for serving
- Lettuce leaves - for wrapping
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, chopped green onion, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, prepare the shirataki noodles according to package instructions (usually rinsing and boiling for a few minutes). If using zucchini noodles, sauté them lightly in the skillet for 2-3 minutes.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble your burger: place a patty on a bed of shirataki noodles or zucchini noodles, and wrap it with lettuce leaves.
- Drizzle with Sriracha sauce if desired, and serve immediately.
