Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion, chopped - 2 stalks
  • Shirataki noodles (or zucchini noodles) - 200 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sriracha sauce (optional) - for serving
  • Lettuce leaves - for wrapping

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, chopped green onion, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the shirataki noodles according to package instructions (usually rinsing and boiling for a few minutes). If using zucchini noodles, sauté them lightly in the skillet for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble your burger: place a patty on a bed of shirataki noodles or zucchini noodles, and wrap it with lettuce leaves.
  6. Drizzle with Sriracha sauce if desired, and serve immediately.
