- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, bring the dashi broth to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Add the dried wakame seaweed to the broth and let it rehydrate for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced shiitake mushrooms and cook for another 2-3 minutes until tender.
- In a small bowl, mix the miso paste with a ladle of hot broth to dissolve it, then return the mixture to the pot.
