- Water - 100 ml
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Nori (seaweed) sheets - 2 sheets
- Salt - to taste
- Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the katsuobushi, rice flour, cornstarch, miso paste, and salt.
- Gradually add water while stirring until you achieve a thick, batter-like consistency.
- Heat sesame oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Spoon small dollops of the mixture into the pan, flattening them slightly to form small pancakes.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- While the snacks are cooking, cut the nori sheets into small squares.
- Once the snacks are cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve the katsuobushi snacks warm, garnished with black sesame seeds and accompanied by nori squares.
