Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Cabbage - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Mirin (optional) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onion - 1, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Cooking oil - for frying
Steps
- 1. Begin by preparing the chicken breast; season it with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2. In a shallow bowl, beat the egg and set it aside. In another bowl, place the almond flour.
- 3. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it in almond flour, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the coated chicken breasts and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- 5. In the same skillet, add sesame oil and sauté the sliced cabbage until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 6. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and mirin (if using). Pour this mixture over the sautéed cabbage and stir to combine.
- 7. Slice the fried chicken into strips and place it on top of the sautéed cabbage in the skillet.
- 8. Pour the remaining egg over the chicken and cabbage. Cover and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the egg is just set.
- 9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onion.
