Ingredients

  • Mirin - 30 ml
  • Sake - 30 ml
  • Water - 150 ml
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Mixed salad greens (e.g., spinach, arugula) - 100 grams
  • Cucumbers - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Radishes - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Sesame oil - 10 ml
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a pot, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, and water. Add the pork belly and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 60 minutes, until the pork is tender. Flip the pork halfway through.
  3. Remove the pork from the pot and let it cool, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
