Ingredients
- ice - 300 grams
- water - 200 milliliters
- sugar - 50 grams
- fresh mango - 1 medium, diced
- kiwi - 1 medium, sliced
- strawberries - 100 grams, hulled and halved
- sweetened condensed milk - 2 tablespoons
- matcha powder - 1 teaspoon (optional for garnish)
Steps
- In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar, and heat over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Allow to cool.
- Once cooled, place the sugar syrup in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to chill.
- While the syrup is chilling, prepare your fruits by dicing the mango, slicing the kiwi, and hulling and halving the strawberries.
- Fill a large bowl with ice and use a blender or ice shaver to shave the ice into fine, fluffy snow-like texture.
- Scoop the shaved ice into two serving bowls.
- Drizzle the chilled sugar syrup over the shaved ice evenly.
- Top each bowl with the diced mango, kiwi slices, and strawberry halves.
- For an extra touch, drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the top and sprinkle with matcha powder if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing dessert.
