Ingredients

  • Ripe persimmons - 2 medium

  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon

  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped green onions - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. While the grill is heating, prepare the miso glaze by mixing the white miso paste, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl until smooth.
  3. Slice the persimmons into thick wedges, about 1 inch thick.
  4. Once the grill is ready, lightly brush the persimmon slices with the miso glaze on both sides.
