Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 2 medium (about 300g)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon (5g)
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon (2g)
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon (2g)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (1g)
  • Dried seaweed flakes - 1 tablespoon (3g)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them thinly into sticks, about 5mm thick.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato sticks with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle the salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper over the potatoes, then toss again to distribute the seasonings.
  5. Spread the potato sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Once done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with dried seaweed flakes while they are still hot.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
