  • Miso paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 pieces
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Wasabi - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, miso paste, egg, green onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil. Once hot, add the crab patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the wasabi mayo by mixing mayonnaise, wasabi, and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.
  5. Toast the burger buns in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the crab patty, sliced tomato, and cucumber. Spread the wasabi mayo on the top half of the bun and place it on top.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Hokkaido Crab Burger!
