- Beef sirloin - 300 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Pork rinds (crushed) - 30 grams
- Keto-friendly soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil (for frying) - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley (for garnish) - a handful
Steps
- Slice the beef sirloin into 1 cm thick cutlets and pound them gently to tenderize.
- In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, crushed pork rinds, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg until well mixed.
- Dip each beef cutlet first into the egg, then coat it with the almond flour and pork rind mixture, ensuring an even coating.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
- Fry the coated cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Slice the gyukatsu into strips and serve with a drizzle of keto-friendly soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
