Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced beef. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the dashi, soy sauce, and mirin, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- While the beef simmers, prepare the cauliflower rice according to package instructions or steam it until tender.
- Divide the cauliflower rice into two bowls and top each bowl with the beef mixture. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with pickled ginger if desired.
