- Keto burger buns (store-bought or homemade) - 2 buns
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 2 leaves
- Mayonnaise (sugar-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with soy sauce, mirin, sake, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into two burger patties and refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter.
- Once melted, cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the keto buns by toasting them lightly in the same skillet for about 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked patty, a tablespoon of mayonnaise, sliced green onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
