Ingredients

  • Sweet potatoes - 500 grams

  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon

  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
  • Spring onions - 1, finely chopped, for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium heat.
  2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then slice them into 1 cm thick rounds.
  3. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and ground black pepper to create the marinade.
