Steps

  1. Peel the lotus root and slice it into 0.5 cm thick rounds.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and chili flakes to create the marinade.
  3. Add the lotus root slices to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
