- Ground chicken - 300 grams
- Fresh ginger - 20 grams, grated
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through and golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in another pan until golden.
- Spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each bun base, then place a lettuce leaf, followed by the chicken patty.
- Top with slices of tomato and cucumber, then close the burger with the top bun.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side.
