- Panko breadcrumbs - 100 grams

- Tonkatsu sauce (Halal) - 50 ml
Steps
- Begin by preparing the shrimp; rinse and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a shallow bowl, season the all-purpose flour with salt and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg until smooth.
- In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each shrimp in the seasoned flour, shaking off the excess.
- Dip the floured shrimp into the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Coat the shrimp in panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).
- Fry the shrimp in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve the Ebi Fry hot with lemon wedges and drizzle with tonkatsu sauce.
