Ingredients

  • Daikon radish - 200 grams
  • Sushi-grade raw salmon - 100 grams
  • Cucumber - 50 grams
  • Avocado - 50 grams
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml
  • Wasabi - 5 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 10 grams
  • Rice vinegar - 10 ml
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. Peel the daikon radish and slice it into thin sheets using a mandoline or a sharp knife, aiming for a thickness of about 2 mm.
  2. Julienne the cucumber and avocado into thin strips.
  3. Lay out one daikon sheet, and place a small amount of sushi-grade salmon, cucumber, and avocado in the center.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of salt, a few drops of rice vinegar, and some sesame seeds over the filling.
  5. Carefully roll the daikon sheet around the filling, tucking it as you go to form a tight roll.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining daikon sheets and fillings.
  7. Slice each roll into bite-sized pieces and arrange on a plate.
  8. Serve with soy sauce and wasabi for dipping.
