Ingredients

  • Daikon radish - 200 grams
  • Spaghetti or linguine - 150 grams

  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2, thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Peel the daikon radish and cut it into thin matchsticks or use a spiralizer to create daikon noodles.
  2. Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the daikon radish to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender but still slightly crunchy.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
