Ingredients

  • Daikon radish - 250 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Wash and peel the daikon radish, then slice it thinly (around 2-3 mm thick) using a sharp knife or mandoline.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced daikon, olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Toss until the daikon is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the daikon slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over the daikon slices.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the chips halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
