Ingredients

  • Wakame seaweed - 30 grams (dried)
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, julienned
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Radish - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (Halal) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Spring onion - 1, chopped

Steps

  1. Soak the dried wakame seaweed in water for about 10 minutes until rehydrated. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cucumber, carrot, and radish with the rehydrated wakame.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss to combine evenly.
  5. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chopped spring onion on top before serving.
