Ingredients
- Eggs - 2 large
- Spinach - 100 grams, fresh
- Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Cream - 100 ml
- Miso paste - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 200 ml
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Blanch the spinach in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and chop it finely.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, miso paste, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add the chopped spinach and grated cheddar cheese to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into two small ramekins, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Place the ramekins in a baking dish and add water to the baking dish until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the custard is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve warm.
