Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Chashu pork belly - 150 grams, sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Napa cabbage - 50 grams, shredded
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Sriracha - 1 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil to create a glaze.
  5. Brush the glaze generously over the pizza dough.
  6. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the glazed dough.
  7. Arrange the sliced chashu pork belly evenly over the cheese.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded napa cabbage and chopped green onions on top of the chashu.
  9. If desired, drizzle Sriracha over the toppings for a spicy kick.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  11. Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with black sesame seeds before slicing.
  12. Allow to cool slightly, then serve hot.
