- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Nori seaweed sheets - 2 sheets
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - to taste
- Chili flakes - optional, to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into 1.5 cm cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
- Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and gently toss to coat them in the marinade. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the marinated tofu cubes evenly on the tray.
- Tear the nori sheets into smaller pieces and sprinkle them over the tofu.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the tofu is golden and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven, and garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes if desired.
